Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We ask that there are no phones & cameras during our wedding ceremony. We will have professional photographers and can share photos & video with friends and family.

Will there be parking available?

La Lomita Ranch offers ample parking. If you prefer not to drive, Uber and Lyft are always available to transport you as needed. Cars may be left overnight if you are not fit to drive home following the reception.

What is the dress code?

We’d love for our guests to dress up for the occasion, but more than anything, we want you to feel comfortable and confident. Think semi-formal to formal attire.

For ladies, we recommend chic cocktail dresses or elegant evening wear.

For gentlemen, a suit and tie are perfect, no need for a tux unless you’re feeling fancy.

Yes, our wedding is at a ranch! Cowboy boots, hats and bolo ties are welcome.

It’s a celebration! Please wear color! (Please do not wear white.)

What is the weather like?

September is generally quite warm, but San Luis Obispo can get chilly at night, so we recommend bringing a jacket or layer. The ceremony will take place outdoors; reception is indoors.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one or my child?

Your invitation will be addressed to indicate exactly who is invited. We appreciate you celebrating with us and honoring this detail.

Will there be vegetarian options?

Yes! We will have a variety of options to meet everyone's dietary needs. Dinner is buffet style.

What is the wedding timeline?

Ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior.

Following the ceremony, join us for cocktail hour and passed hors d'oeuvres on property starting at 4:30 PM.

Dinner and dancing will kick off around 5:30 PM.

Last call at the bar will be at 9:30 PM, and the venue will close promptly at 10:00 PM.
